Police seek two men for questioning in fatal shooting

Fayetteville police want to talk two men about a Wednesday shooting at 721 Wilma St. that killed a man.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police want to talk two men about a Wednesday shooting at 721 Wilma St. that killed a man.

Detectives want to question Rico Lee Miles, 27, of Spaulding Drive, and Genesis Lee Whitted, 20, of 812 Glensford Drive, about the incident.

Kenneth Benjamin Underwood, 49, died after being shot in front of his home at about 11:50 p.m., police said. Preliminary findings indicated he and another person got into a fight, which led to the shooting, police said.
