Man shot to death in Fayetteville

Police on Thursday were investigating a fatal shooting at 721 Wilma St. Wednesday night that left one man dead.

Kenneth Benjamin Underwood, 49, died after being shot in front of his home at about 11:50 p.m., police said. Preliminary findings indicated he and another person got into a fight, which led to the shooting, police said.
