Police identified a motorcyclist killed in a wreck Saturday as Octavius Delrae Harrell, 28, of Durham.

<b>DURHAM, N.C.</b> — Police identified a motorcyclist killed in a wreck Saturday as Octavius Delrae Harrell, 28, of Durham.

Police said Harrell lost control of his bike and struck a utility pole on Fayetteville Street, near Caribou Crossing, around 10:30 p.m. He died at Duke University Hospital.

Speed was a factor in the wreck, but investigators said they do not believe that alcohol was.

Anyone who witnessed the wreck should call Investigator Cox at 919-560-4935, ext. 29409.
