Motorcyclist dies in Durham wreck

A motorcyclist died after he lost control of his bike and struck a utility pole Saturday, Durham police said.

The wreck happened at Fayetteville Street, near Caribou Crossing, around 10:30 p.m., police said.

The man, whose name hasn't been released, died at Duke University Hospital.

Traffic police are investigating the wreck.
