Young car lovers encouraged to sign up to judge Cary car show
The Hagerty Youth Judging Program gives kids the chance to walk around the car show as a group to judge five to 6 pre-selected cars.
Posted — UpdatedThe Hagerty Youth Judging Program gives kids the chance to walk around the car show as a group to judge five to six pre-selected cars. At each car, the owners will talk about their car. The kids will have the opportunity to ask questions and judge the car like the other adult judges at the show. Each child also will get a T-shirt, pen and judging booklet to keep.
The fourth annual Wheels on Academy runs form 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., May 16, along a portion of Academy Street around the Cary Town Hall campus. The free event includes Take-Apart Model T Demonstrations at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.; a children's crafts area where kids can make their own wooden cars and race them down a car ramp; a Touch the Truck with various vehicles to explore; live entertainment; concessions and other activities.
