Wrong-way driver on I-95 faces DWI charge
A woman who drove the wrong way on Interstate 95 in Fayetteville Sunday night was charged with impaired driving and causing a wreck, state troopers said.
Posted — UpdatedFAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A woman who drove the wrong way on Interstate 95 in Fayetteville Sunday night was charged with impaired driving and causing a wreck, state troopers said.
Claudine Parisi, 42, got onto I-95 at Exit 44 to Claude Lee Road and started going south in the northbound lanes, troopers said. Her 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe collided with a 2006 Honda sedan.
No one was injured.
Parisi was charged with driving while impaired.
