I-85 reopens after wreck involving tractor-trailer
Northbound lanes of Interstate 85 near the North Carolina-Virginia state line were closed for several hours Tuesday due to a wreck involving a tractor-trailer.
Posted — UpdatedHENDERSON, N.C. — Northbound lanes of Interstate 85 near the North Carolina-Virginia state line were closed for several hours Tuesday due to a wreck involving a tractor-trailer.
Authorities shut down the highway in both directions near Dabney Drive (Exit 213) near Henderson following the wreck. The southbound lanes reopened around 11 a.m., but northbound lanes remained closed until just before 3 p.m.
It's unclear what caused the wreck or if anyone was injured.
