Get WRAL-TV, CBS programs on All Access streaming service
WRAL-TV on Thursday officially joined the ranks of CBS stations making programming available live and on-demand on the CBS All Access digital streaming service.
Posted — UpdatedFor $5.99 per month, CBS All Access subscribers can watch live TV programs as they are broadcast from a computer or mobile device. Subscribers can also access on-demand episodes of shows both current and classic CBS shows, like "The Big Bang Theory," "Cheers" and "Star Trek."
The app uses technology to determine when a device is located within the geographic footprint of a local CBS affiliate to serve up the correct and current live television programming.
CBS launched All Access in October 2014 to provide live streaming by local affiliates. Network-owned-and-operated affiliates were the first to offer the service, and now the network is expanding its footprint to additional markets, including Raleigh-Durham-Fayetteville.
"We are delighted to be part of CBS All Access," WRAL-TV General Manager Steve Hammel said. "This simulcast of all programs and commercials on WRAL allows more access for our viewers to watch all we have to offer."
