Jim Hunt was one of the most popular and influential politicians in North Carolina history. He served as lieutenant governor and an unprecedented four terms as governor.

“State of Mine: The Jim Hunt Story” is a one-hour documentary examining Hunt’s life and legacy. The story is told through interviews conducted just after Hunt left office in 2001. The interviews include Hunt and his wife Carolyn, their children, former Hunt staff and cabinet members and many of Hunt’s political opponents. The documentary also includes behind-the-scenes footage of Hunt during his last days in office, exclusive footage of Hunt on his farm in Rock Ridge and personal family photos.
