A Pennsylvania couponer has actually sued Walmart over a 21-cent overcharge related to the way a product was taxed after the coupon amount was deducted! Would you go to that length to send a message to a store?

An article from Couponsinthenews.com, tells the story of a coupon shopper in Pa. who was charged tax on the pre-coupon total. In Pa., the law is that tax is charged on the post-coupon total, not the original selling price before coupon.  So the man sued Walmart over the 21-cent overcharge. The lawsuit is now in Federal court and it will be interesting to see what comes of it.

For the record, here in NC, we get charged tax on the original sales price, not the post-coupon total.
