Worth the drive: Crazy Mexico restaurant

Crazy Mexico is located at 1138 North Roxboro St. in Haw River.

You can choose to dine in or carry out. Orders can be placed online or by phone. Although it can be very busy depending on the day and time, I've only seen customers greeted with kindness and attentiveness.

If you're like me, you want to know about customer service when reading a recommendation or review.

As for the food, my family has its favorites. We've tried quite a few dishes but I'm only sharing here what I have photos for. The order and total below was for our family of three.

Choripollo Tacos - Three flour tortilla tacos, grilled chicken, cheese, pico de gallo, & avocado. Served with a side of Spanish rice and black beans topped with cheese.

Crazy Tacos - Two flour tortilla tacos, steak, melted cheese, pico de gallo, and sliced avocado. Also served with a side of Spanish rice & black beans topped with cheese.

Chips & salsa come with each order. And because we really like salsa, an extra container is usually ordered.

In addition to tacos, my youngest wanted a single beef quesadilla. She's not a huge fan of tacos and has to be in the mood to eat them. My oldest and I will eat them anytime and usually share so that we each get a taste when we order a variety.

Our total came to $26.16 at the time. This order fed all three of us comfortably. As you're aware, many businesses have raised prices. Therefore, I'm unsure how things have changed at Crazy Mexico. Be sure to check out their online menu for current prices.

From delicious food to hefty portion sizes, there's plenty to love about this restaurant. That also includes its colorful decor and inviting atmosphere. Crazy Mexico has been a go-to for my family for a while now and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
