A quick note to share that the American Tobacco Campus in Durham will be the base for the Ramblin' Rose, a half marathon for woman that will benefit the Duke Cancer Fund, this Sunday.

The run is presented by Endurance Magazine, a resource for active lifestyles in the Carolinas. Ramblin' Rose events are designed to inspire, support, and propel women of all ages and athletic abilities.

More than 1,800 women already are signed up for the event - a great opportunity to run, cheer on runners or get a little inspiration (speaking for myself who hopes to run my second 5K in a couple of months). The course weaves through downtown Durham; the Duke University campus; and the Trinity Park and Forest Hills neighborhoods
