RALEIGH, N.C. — A Wake County grand jury on Monday indicted a Raleigh woman accused of running down a woman in a dispute about a roommate moving out.

Victoria Graham Goode, 55, of 1229 Bentley Lane, was indicted on one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder and one count of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill in the July 1 death of Veronica Malone.

Raleigh police said Malone, 38, and a 15-year-old boy were helping Tanya Lynette Mattison move out of the home she and Goode shared when Goode drove her vehicle and hit Malone and the boy.

Malone later died. The teenager suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Goode remains in the Wake County Jail without bond.
