FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — One woman died Saturday evening after a motorcycle crash in Fayetteville.

Around 9:30 p.m., officers with the Fayetteville Police Department responded to a single-motorcycle crash on North Reilly Road near Cissna Drive.

The motorcyclist, Melanie Lewis Orr, 39, of Fort Bragg, was transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where she died as a result of her injuries.

Investigations revealed that Orr was traveling outbound on N. Reilly Road when she lost control of her motorcycle and crashed. Anyone with additional information about the crash is asked to contact the Fayetteville Police Department at 910-433-1885 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477.
