GARNER, N.C. — A judge on Friday complied with a request to grant bond for a woman charged with shooting and killing her husband inside a camper in a Garner parking lot.

Ruby Ashworth Gonzalez, 59, was granted a $200,000 secured bond.

She had been held without bond after being arrested May 29 on charges of first-degree murder in the death of her husband, Abundio G. Gonzalez, 48. Police said the shooting stemmed from a domestic situation involving another woman.

In a 911 call, Ruby Gonzalez told dispatchers that she had "shot her husband" and that she had warned him that she would kill him if she ever caught him with another woman.
