RALEIGH, N.C. — A local woman was arrested early Thursday in a security breach at Raleigh-Durham International Airport, authorities said.

Cynthia Covial, 41, was charged with second-degree trespassing shortly after midnight, authorities said.

As two airport employees opened a door to go from a restricted area into the public baggage-claim area of Terminal C, a woman went through the doorway in the opposite direction, authorities said.

The RDU employees stayed with the woman, who didn't leave the restricted area, and they called airport police, authorities said.
