Garner police seek man in connection with ex-girlfriend's stabbing

Garner police were searching Wednesday for Perry Michael Wilson, 38, who is accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend.

GARNER, N.C. — Garner police were searching Wednesday for a 38-year-old man accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend.

Perry Michael Wilson is charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and violation of a domestic violence protective order.

According to investigators, Wilson stabbed Denique Kearney, 34, at a home on Faye Drive at about 10 p.m. Tuesday. Kearney was listed in fair condition at a local hospital.

Wilson was last seen in the area of the Forest Hills Shopping Center wearing a burgundy sweatshirt. Authorities say he also has home addresses in Raleigh and Wake County.
