Wine shop opens in downtown Cary
Chatham Street Wine Market is holding its grand opening celebration on Nov. 14.

CARY, N.C. — A boutique wine shop and tasting bar has opened in downtown Cary.
Chatham Street Wine Market is located at 111 W. Chatham St., in the old Gather coffee shop location.
Doug Gambardella said the store features wine from around the world, with a "focus on smaller production, family-owned wines that are also great values."
Wine tastings are held every Thursday night.
A grand opening celebration is planned on Nov. 14.
Gambardella, a New York native who has lived in Cary for more than two years, has nearly 10 years experience in the wine business.
Chatham Street Wine Market is open Monday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
