Wilson detectives are investigating a shooting that left a man dead early Saturday.

WILSON, N.C. — Wilson detectives are investigating a shooting that left a man dead early Saturday.

Police found Anthony Deandre Jones, 38, inside a residence at 1704 Birchwood Drive at about 1:47 a.m.

He suffered from a single gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say a woman was shot in the upper thigh while two men inside the home were arguing. EMS stabilized the woman and took her to ECU Health in Greenville. Both men suffered gunshot wounds during the altercation.
