This topic comes up every winter as the temperatures drop, but the kids' pants, particularly among boys, stay short. It was most recently covered in an article in the Washington Post.

So it's no surprise that this week an article that I wrote a couple of years ago on this very same topic is back among some of the more popular posts on Go Ask Mom.

In that post, Dr. Sarah Ryan at Rex Pediatrics explained some theories on why kids insist on dressing for summer when it's 30 degrees out and why, in most cases, that's probably OK.

In other words, in most cases, this isn't a battle worth fighting!
