Welcome! My name is Faye Prosser, and I’m a contributor to the WRAL Smart Shopper column. My goal is to help you save a tremendous amount of money on groceries and all your everyday expenses.

We started the Smart Shopper page in 2009 to help you live more comfortably within your means. As the author of “The Smart Spending Guide” and owner of Smart Spending Resources, I have been teaching people how to budget, reduce debt and cut grocery bills for over 20 years.

On the Smart Shopper column you’ll find the top grocery store sales posted every week as well as restaurant deals and freebies, retail promotions and more.
