Ironing is a subject that brings up an enormous split in attitudes. Some folks achieve a Zen-like state of tranquility at the ironing board steaming their wrinkles away. Others would rather crouch on hands and knees scrubbing the bathroom floor with a toothbrush. How do you relate to this household

B) A corner of the kitchen table, as long as it's not too sticky from breakfast spills.
A) Set aside a half hour, put on some lively music and get right to it.
B) Dry clothes on the permapress setting and hang as soon as they're done.
C) Let the dog sleep on it a few weeks till it flattens to half its previous size.
A) … two business shirts, an antique tablecloth and a few hand-embroidered hankies, but it will be emptied by tonight.
B) … that rayon blouse I washed three weeks ago. Pretty, but not pretty enough to iron.

A) I regularly rub it with iron cleaning spray and a clean, soft cloth, plus cotton swabs for the steam holes.
