RALEIGH, N.C. — House Bill 2 was once again in the national headlines, as both the NCAA and the Atlantic Coast Conference decided to move more than a dozen collegiate sports tournaments from North Carolina over the next year because of the state law.

Some Republican lawmakers have joined Democrats in calling for a repeal of the law, but legislative leaders haven't jumped on that train yet.

Meanwhile, presidential candidates Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton continue to drop in for North Carolina rallies. A Clinton event in Greensboro on Thursday marked her return to the campaign trail after three days resting at home recovering from pneumonia.
