Here are my weekly grocery totals for the week of August 7 - August 13.

Subtotal before sales and coupons: $229.74
Total saved: $146.84
Total paid: $82.90
% Saved: 64%

My weekly budget is $80/week so I came in $2.90 over budget last week. I expect I will make up for it this week with all the fabulous Super Doubles deals!

Last week I shopped at Harris Teeter, Lowes Foods, CVS (quick trip for .99 Coke Zero for hubby using a CVS gift card from Swagbucks), Walgreens (quick trip for 3 dozen eggs for .99 using a rain check from a previous week) and the local farm stand for plenty of fresh produce.

To figure out the percentage you saved:

Take the total amount saved divided by the total amount before sales and coupons.

Using the example above, take $146.84 divided by $229.74 = .639 (round that number to 64%)

How did you do this week?
