Weekend lane closure on I-40
One lane on Interstate 40 West between Exit 289 (Wade Avenue) and the Wade Avenue overpass will be closed for maintenance from Friday at 9 p.m. until Sunday at 6 a.m.
Posted — UpdatedRALEIGH, N.C. — One lane on Interstate 40 West between Exit 289 (Wade Avenue) and the Wade Avenue overpass (below, orange) will be closed for maintenance from Friday at 9 p.m. until Sunday at 6 a.m.
Motorists can expect heavy delays and are urged to avoid the area if possible.
Beginning Sunday, overnight work will resume on I-40 from Exit 289 to Exit 301 (below, blue). One lane will be closed in either direction from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
