In-person events

St Paddy's Fest Raleigh Beer Garden (Raleigh Beer Garden , 614 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh) - Raleigh Beer garden is hosting this socially distanced St. Patrick's Day party on Saturday. There are two sessions (one morning and one evening) and tickets start at $20 per person. Every ticket purchased will include a beer upon arrival.
St. Patrick's Day at Hibernian (Hibernian Pub of Raleigh, 311 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh) - The Hibernian is hosting its annual St. Patrick's Day celebration on March 13 and 17. The events include four 5-hour sessions to help the venue maintain reduced capacity. There will be morning and evening sessions that include live music, giveaways and food and drink specials. Tables of up to four, six and eight people are available for reservation.
Norse Brewing's St. Patrick's Day Celebration (Family Friendly) (Norse Brewing Company , 203 Brooks Street, Wake Forest) - Norse Brewing in Wake Forest is celebrating St. Patrick's Day with a family friendly event on March 13 from noon to 3 p.m. There will be live music. Tables can be booked in advance. There will be seating indoors and outdoors. All COVID-19 guidelines will be followed.
Shamrock Search (Raleigh, Cary and Knightdale) - This competitive scavenger hunt is happening in Raleigh, Cary and Knightdale on March 13 from 2 to 5 p.m. The hunt is happening at the same time in each city and will involve finding all the hidden green shamrocks in your city. The shamrocks will be on storefront windows so you don't have to go inside. The teams will need to find all secret words and form them into a sentence and turn in the correct answer. The top three finishers will win a basket full of goodies from local businesses. Admission is $15 per team.
Pullen Park lines up Pi Day, St. Patrick's Day activities for families - Pullen Park is observing Pi Day and St. Patrick's Day with a couple of free, drop-in activities for kids.

Virtual events or for available for pick-up

Virtual Reptile & Amphibian Days - The North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences will host six days of virtual fun with programs about this year's featured creature - salamanders. The event runs March 8-13.
Pi Day Beer and Pie Pairing (Bond Brothers Beer Company, 202 East Cedar Street, Cary) - Bond Brothers beer is teaming up with Slice Pie Company for a beer and pie pairing in time for Pi Day. Orders should be placed in advanced and pairings can be picked up on March 14 between noon and 8 p.m. A limited number of slices will be available for sale the day of. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 the day of.
Shamrocks & Shenanigans Virtual 4 Mile Run Walk - This St. Patrick's Day-themed virtual 4 mile run can be completed anytime before March 31.
Learn about Irish history, find your ancestors - This interactive Irish Genealogy event will be held virtually on Saturday. It delves into the history of the Irish people and helps explain how to find your Irish ancestors.
