RALEIGH, N.C. — Lots happening this weekend. Here are our picks:

Live music

Chatham County Line and Old Habits - The show is part of a barbecue fundraiser for Triangle Family Services at The Ritz. The tailgate starts at 5 p.m. with the music at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $20.
Will Hoge - The singer/songwriter has teamed up with Georgia Stallites guitarist Dan Baird to tour the south. The two hit Motorco in Durham Friday night. Tickets start at $15.
Del McCoury and David Grisman - Grammy winner and International Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame member, Del McCoury, will play UNC Chapel Hill's Memorial Hall Saturday night. Tickets start at $29.

Art and Theatre

Art of John Lennon - Mahler Fine Art presents this exhibition of the late Beatles' work. The exhibit runs Friday through Sunday. Admission is free.
The Illusionists - This mind-blowing spectacular features a group of world-renowned magicians. It was a Broadway hit and now it is at DPAC Tuesday through Sunday.
Flashdance the Musical - The stage production of the popular film hits Raleigh Memorial Auditorium on Sunday.
A Year with the Frog and Toad - Raleigh Little Theatre presents this tale of a toad worrywart toad and a perky frog as they plan gardens, rake leaves and go swimming. Shows run through Nov. 22.

Family fun

NC Comicon - There will be video games, costume contests, Lego sculptures, movies and more at this year's event at the Durham Convention Center. Events run Friday through Sunday. Tickets start at $15.
Children's Carnival - Raleigh Times holds its third Sunday Children's Carnival 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in front of the restaurant in downtown Raleigh. There will be bounce houses, arts and crafts and games. Admission is free.

More events

Casino Night - The Lung Transplant Foundation presents this event Saturday night at Marbles Kids Museum. There will also be a silent auction. Tickets are $60 each.
Carrboro Holiday Bazaar Craft and Art Market - More than 60 local art and craft vendors will be at Sunday's event in Carrboro Town Commons. The event, which also includes food trucks and craft beer, starts at 1 p.m. Admission is free.
