WAKE FOREST, N.C. — It's a weekend full of entertainment in the Triangle!

Get the family together and play BINGO Friday night in Wake Forest.

NC Beach Bingo in Wake Forest holds its grand opening event at the Cotton Company. This family-friendly "not your grandma's bingo" starts at 6 p.m. and will feature a free slice of pizza for the first 50 customers. The back-story on this event is amazing. The Graham Johnson Cultural Arts Endowment, which presents this event, was created after 15-year-old Franklin Academy student Graham Johnson committed suicide. His family wanted to honor his memory and help others.

More events happening Friday:

Diana Ross at the DPAC - The iconic singer takes the stage at 8 p.m. Friday Tickets start at $70.
John Waters at Carolina Theater of Durham - The legendary filmmaker brings his one man spoken word lecture show Durham Friday night. Tickets start at $34.

Chocolate 5K - The Cornucopia Cancer Support Center holds its 2nd annual Chocolate 5K at Duke's East Campus Gazebo on Saturday starting at 9 am.
