Greg, just wanted to thank you for being such a good inspiration for my son John McGuire (age 25).

We have lived in the area since john was five. He has always wanted to be a weather person. He is currently working on his master's part time @ ncsu, while working full time at the nc climate office. At his NCSU graduation in 2008, he was excited to be finally getting his degree, but was over the moon that you would be in attendance at the college ceremony.

Thank you for being a role model for my son and inspiration for his work life. His dad and i divorced as john entered high school, then shortly after his father moved out of state. even though you were "there" from afar, you have always been a good role model for john.

When he first starting working at the climate office, i would ask how's work. Great mom, i got to talk to Fish today - well i told him to "hold please". :)

congrats on 30 & thanks again for being the best weatherman in the area and for mentoring my youngest.
