First of all, Greg, congratulations on 30 years at WRAL!!!

I was graduating from the Air Force Academy around this time 30 years ago (May 27th). I have enjoyed--and trusted--your and WRAL's weather forecast above all others since my first Air Force assignment at Seymour Johnson in Dec., 1982.

A reminder for the audience that probably won't be mentioned today: May 5,1961, Alan Shepard became the first American to fly in space--a pretty significant achievement, much more so than "Cinco de Mayo." I would appreciate it if you might mention this fact on the air today. Thanks, and thanks for all that you do--above all, thanks for caring.
