Central N.C. could see 100-degree temperatures
Hot weather will continue over the next couple days, pushing temperatures to triple digits in central North Carolina.

The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for 23 counties between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. Monday. The high could be around 101 degrees, and the heat index could reach around 107 degrees for several hours in the afternoon.
"If you have anything to do outdoors, try to get it done early as temperatures will climb quickly in the morning hours," WRAL meteorologist Kim Deaner said
A similar situation could prevail on Tuesday. The high is predicted to be around 97 degrees that day.
The heat will begin to recede in the mid-week, bringing temperatures down to the low 90s and ushering back in higher chances of rain.
