Work week could get stormy start
Afternoon sprinkles and overnight showers will end a string of clear, warm spring days, and Monday could usher in a blustery, stormy start to the work week.

Upper-level moisture created clouds throughout Sunday but only a few light showers in the afternoon over central North Carolina. Temperatures topped out in the mid-70s.
In the evening, moisture that held off to the west during the day will push into central North Carolina. Showers and periods of rain will be possible overnight.
On Monday, an approaching cold front will stir up winds and possibly some intense storms.
"The biggest threat Monday will be damaging winds," WRAL meteorologist Kim Deaner said. "There is the possibility of hail, lightning and isolated tornadoes."
Southwesterly winds could gust up to 25 or 30 mph.
The clouds will stick around as temperatures dip into the 60s on Tuesday and Wednesday, with lows in the 40s.
