Another High Temp Record Falls
For a second day, warmth melts high temperature records for December.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Another record high was broken Tuesday as the high temperature at Raleigh-Durham International Airport hit 74 degrees before 3 p.m. today.
The old record for Dec. 11 was 72 degrees, set in 1971.
The high of 81 degrees Monday at Raleigh-Durham International Airport set a new record for Dec. 10. The previous record high for the date was 76 degrees set in 1972.
Monday's 81 degrees was also the warmest December day on record at the airport.
The balmy weather will be a distant memory come Saturday and Sunday, when high temperatures will be 30 degrees colder.
