Storm Damage, Minor Injury Reported in Franklin County

Bricks were blown off a laundromat just outside Louisburg. A camper was also blown over and a person inside the camper had minor injuries, according to WRAL Reporter Beau Minnick, who was on the scene.

Storm Damage, Minor Injury Reported in Franklin County
LOUISBURG — Storm damage and at least one minor injury were reported in Franklin County Wednesday evening.

Bricks were blown off a laundromat just outside Louisburg. A camper was also blown over, and a person inside the camper had minor injuries, WRAL's Beau Minnick reported from the scene.

The National Weather Service reported that numerous trees and power lines were down at Preacher Ball and Edward Best roads.

Strong thunderstorms Wednesday morning prompted the National Weather Service to issue severe thunderstorm warnings for counties in and around the Triangle. There was still a possibility of severe weather late in the day, according to WRAL Meteorologist Mike Maze.
