What is going on with the Moon tonight? When I left work, I noticed that although there were no stars, there is a quarter moon glowing in the sky with 2 planets also shining bright. It didn't look like stars because they weren't twinkling. Do you know why this is happening and also what planets are being seen?

MIKE MOSS SAYS: Debbie, What you were seeing was a very nice conjunction of the crescent moon with the planets Venus and Jupiter, all of which reached points in their orbits that evening that made for an eye-catching display.
