MIKE MOSS SAYS:      Betty,     As you probably know, moderate to high humidity levels (marked by dew points in the mid 60s to low 70s - really oppressive humidty is associated with dew points in the mid 70s to around 80, and it usually feels comfortably dry with dew points below about 60) is a common feature of our summertime weather, so we will likely have frequent humid days through the end of August or so. The current stretch of humid weather looks like it'll contuinue with only slight improvement through this weekend, but there are at least some hints from longer range computer models that we might see a drier airmass slip into the region around next Tuesday or Wednesday - if this holds up (a big "if" that far in advance) we might see dew point slip into the more pleasant 50s or low 60s for a few days. Here's hoping!
