This is not a weather question but perhaps your scientific minds can answer. We watch WRAL in HD (great!). When it is stated that announcements - closings and the like - are shown at bottom of screen - we don't get those in HD. Can this be remedied or is it just a fact of HD?

MIKE MOSS SAYS:     Carolyn,      To the best of my knowledge we are running all the announcements and crawls, etc on the HD signal as well as our SD transmissions. You may want to see if your HDTV might be set to an "overscan" mode that might cut off portions of the picture along the top and bottom. I'm not sure that would be the problem, but I have heard of that being an issue.
