I find analog TV transmissions having stronger signal strength than digital transmissions, example 5.1> I was told by person at a retail TV store that effective w/the changeover Feb 2009 stations will significantly increase their digital power. Is this true or not true?

MIKE MOSS SAYS:      Ralph,    That one is a little out of my lane, but I checked with some of our engineers who tell me that there will not, in general, be an increase in transmitted power associated with the switchover in 2009.
