To settle an argument, I need to know what the weather was in Lumberton, Fayetteville area on Monday the 18 of Sept, 2006 and Tuesday 19 of Sept, 2006. Didn't it rain those two days? Any information you can give me will be greatly appreciated. Your station is the only one for weather, thank you.

MIKE MOSS SAYS:     Randy,     A quick look at precipitation analysis maps for those dates showed no measurable rain for the 24 hours ending at 8 am on the 18th or 19th, but there was rain in the Fayetteville area (but not much around Lumberton) during the 24 hours ending at 8 AM on the 20th. Observations from the Fayetteville airport for those days showed no rain on the 18th and .06" on the 19th (.36" fell at Fort Bragg that day). No rain was recorded at the Lumberton airport either of those days.
