greg/mike/elizabeth..i know you are happy about the new radar..however a few of us weather geeks hate that north carolina background is such a light color it is harder to see where the rain is..why so much lighter? And could the color be changed?

MIKE MOSS SAYS:      Debbie,    The new background is composed of satellite and aerial imagery which leads to the lighter overall appearance and to the mosaic quality that some areas show. A number of people have written in here with concerns similar to yours, and while I can't make any promises at this point about changes, I did want to let everyone know that all of the related comments are being passed along to the folks who make the decisions regarding the look of our web graphics.
