After the drought issues from last year that impacted the Fair -- no waterfall and not too much going on in the pond -- it sure was nice to see the waterfall going full blast and more water available.
However, while we're get water we've lost a nice view. I wandered down to the pond (it's near Heritage Circle; the closest gate is 8) and tried to get a shot of the Ferris Wheel reflecting in the water. Alas, the Ferris Wheel has been moved and all you can get is half-a-reflection of one of those swinging ship rides. Not exactly a great photo op.
Fortunately with all the different midways you'll get plenty of opportunities for a great Ferris Wheel shot. It just won't be reflected in water.
