LOUISBURG, N.C. — The Franklin County Sheriff's Office arrested a 19-year-old Wendell man Friday in connection with a string of 12 vehicle break-ins in one night last year.

Warrants allege that Dylan Tyler Brown stole a .27 caliber rifle, Benelli shotgun, Ruger .44 caliber revolver, 9 mm handgun, rifle scope, Garmin GPS, flat screen television, two laptop computers, three digital cameras and Carhart jacket – with a combined estimated value of nearly $8,000 – and $295 cash from seven different vehicles on Nov. 9.

Brown, of 6400 Robertson Pond Road, was charged with 12 counts of breaking and entering a motor vehicle and seven counts of larceny. He was being held Saturday in the Franklin County jail under a $140,000 bond.

Tony Tyler Cole, 22, was arrested last week for vehicle break-ins in Franklin County on Nov. 9, though it wasn't clear whether the crimes are related.

His bond was set at more than $ 1 million.
