ROLESVILLE, N.C. — A Wendell woman is facing charges after Rolesville police say she opened a credit card account in another woman's name, according to an arrest warrant.

Cynthia Lloyd Weatherspoon, 55, was arrested Thursday and charged with identity theft and exploiting disabled or elderly trust. Her bond was set at $10,000 and she is due in court Friday.

Investigators say Weatherspoon took care of an elderly woman in Rolesville and that she used the woman's name and information to obtain a Citibank credit card account last December.
