Wake to distribute more H1N1 vaccines next week
The free vaccinations will be available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday until the supply is exhausted at health department branches in Raleigh, Zebulon, Wake Forest and Fuquay-Varina. No appointment is necessary.

Last week, the county distributed 3,500 doses of a nasal mist form of the vaccine. The latest supply comes only in the form of an injection, public health officials said Friday.
Public health officials have said the doses are reserved for individuals classified as being high priority by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
That group includes pregnant women, individuals ages 6 months to 24 years, ages 25 to 64 with underlying health issues, health care and emergency workers and those individuals caring for children younger than 6 months old.
