CARY, N.C. — Parents who still haven't enrolled their children in the Wake County Public School System still have a chance to give their input on where their children go to school next year.

The school system said Tuesday that it has opened an additional choice selection period, running May 1 through June 30, for the group, which also includes any family who moved after April 12 within Wake County to an address outside their transportation area.

Parents who have children who aren't enrolled in the district, however, must do so before going online.

Information on doing so can be found online at the school system's student assignment website.
