Wake County school system's magnet program will host what they're calling "moms morning out" information sessions at Project Enlightenment this month.

The sessions will include parents of current magnet students and magnet school staff to talk about their experiences and answer questions about different magnet school programs and offerings. Rising kindergartners are welcome to attend with their parents.

The programs are from 10 a.m. to noon Oct. 13 and Oct. 27. Project Enlightenment is at 501 S. Boylan Ave. near downtown Raleigh.

For more information, call the magnet programs office at 919-431-7355 or visit www.wcpss.net/magnet. On the website, you'll find a lot of information, including a time line of other events for parents to learn more about the magnet program at the elementary, middle and high school levels.
