Seuss and Sailor, a children's consignment store near the Wakefield neighborhood, will host free storytelling sessions on Mondays in October starting this week.

The sessions are 11 a.m., Oct. 14, Oct. 21 and Oct. 28. I'm told they'll be non-scary Halloween stories. Each program includes a special snack and prize.

The store is at the Market of Wake Forest Shopping Center, 12243 Capital Blvd., Wake Forest. The entire shopping center will also host trick-or-treating from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Oct. 26, with games, inflatables, face painting and more.

It's all free.
