Wake Forest Police Seek Bank Robber

Wake Forest police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who allegedly robbed a bank on Thursday and an eyewitness to the robbery.

WAKE FOREST, N.C. — Wake Forest police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who allegedly robbed a bank on Thursday and an eyewitness to the robbery.
A man entered Capital Bank, at 12217 Capital Blvd., and demanded money from the teller shortly before noon. The teller gave him an undisclosed amount of cash, and the robber fled the scene on foot.

Police described the man as a black male in his early 40s, with medium build, standing between 5 feet 9 inches and 6 feet tall. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue jacket, glasses and a dark baseball cap.
