Wake County students hospitalized after car hits bus

Five students and a bus driver were transported to the hospital after a car hit a school bus from Cary High School Monday afternoon, officials said.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Five students and a bus driver were transported to the hospital after a car hit a school bus from Cary High School Monday afternoon, officials said.

None of the injuries were life-threatening, Raleigh police said.

The accident happened at South Wilmington and Layden streets in Raleigh.

investigators have not said what caused the wreck.
