Wake County magnet school deadline extended
The new deadline is 10 p.m., Feb. 11. The application period was extended because of last week's snow days.

The Wake County School System is giving families some extra time to apply for its magnet schools, early colleges, leadership academies and the Vernon Malone CTE High School.
The new deadline is 10 p.m., Feb. 11. The application period was extended because of last week's snow days. The notification deadline remains Feb. 21. Families can apply at any time during the application period.
